- Doris Justis and Sean McGhee are now celebrating 29 years of performing together as Side by Side.  Their close vocal harmonies and guitars back their original songs and original interpretations of the best songwriters.  The duo has shared the stage over the years with a "who's who" of folk performers, including the Chad Mitchell Trio, Bill Danoff, Nanci Griffith, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Schooner Fare, Tom Paxton, the Limeliters, Christine Lavin, to name a few!  They have performed on stages from the Kennedy Center to the Birchmere Music Hall and at Washington's Starland Café.  They continue to enthrall audiences with their exciting arrangements of new and old favorites.  This folk duo will charm you with warm and intimate songs that range from original contemporary sounds to classics from the 1960's.

Ann Porcella and Bill Schmidt each have extensive histories in the realm of traditional music.  Ann’s music is highly informed by the gospel music she learned at home and in church.  She is a member of the Blue Moon Cowgirls who have entertained fans in the DC area for over 12 years with their refreshing approach to acoustic country music.  Her debut solo project, Gathering Stones was released several years ago to wide acclaim.  Bill has been an active participant in the old time music scene for decades.  He was a founding member of the Double Decker Stringband.  He is also a member of the Hoover Uprights, two-time winners at the Appalachian String Band Festival.  Their set will include a wide range of roots music: gospel, fiddle tunes, and heart songs accompanied by guitar, banjo, and fiddle.

Baltimore based is the contemporary folk duo of award winning songwriters Claudia SanSoucie and Kate Maguire.  Formed in 2010, their combined talents leave you feeling they’ve performed together for a lifetime.  In sync harmonies, intricate guitar arrangements, melancholy yet hopeful lyrics beg the listener to take a smooth ride on sweet melody.  The two aren’t new to the music business, but the similarities in their lives are uncanny and notable.  The duo reveals a twin spirit, yet voices that become one in harmony.
