(Doris Justis and Sean McGhee) will celebrate their 30th Anniversary in May 2014.  Doris is planning something to celebrate but will not be able to announce details for awhile!  They were in Maine in May with Dave Rowe at his annual celebration to honor his dad, Tom, of Schooner Fare.  Noted for their close vocal harmonies and guitars backing their original songs and original interpretations of the best folk/acoustic songwriters, they have shared the stage with a "who's who" of folk such as Tom Paxton, Nanci Griffith, the Chad Mitchell Trio, Noel Paul Stookey and Peter Yarrow, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Bill Danoff, Jon Carroll, Schooner Fare, Christine Lavin, the Limeliters and the list goes on.  They have been the "houseband" for Music Americana and WFMA since 1984 and continue that role by performing at the Second Sunday El Golfo Showcase from time to time.

Jean Bayou and Ron Goad
is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist singer and songwriter of memorable melodies interwoven with skillfully crafted story lines that will stick to your ribs.  She writes everything from feel-good, groovy, danceable music to mesmerizing instrumentals with middle eastern overtones to tender ballads.  Her wide-ranging song topics include love, aging, memories, women's empowerment, hopefulness, passage of time, more love, days, nights, mammograms and bad family vacations.  It's a poignant, entertaining and fun ride--even more so when Jean is accompanied by percussionist and harmonizer, longtime friend, and co-conspirator on the Board of Directors of the Songwriters Association of Washington (SAW), Ron Goad.  Ron has been recognized for many successive years by his peers in the Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) as Most Supportive of Washington Music, and Jean has received WAMMIEs for Executive of the Year, as President of SAW.  Together they are an impressive duo with some interesting stories to tell and great songs to sing.

a piano-based contemporary singer-songwriter from Stony Brook, New York, is a seasoned indie artist who is remaining grounded in the music and is focused on sharing it with people -- and not on “fame.”  Named an “Editor’s Choice” in 2010 as one of its favorite songwriters of the last decade by Independent Songwriter Magazine, Geller was selected earlier this year to showcase at both the annual Singer Songwriter Cape May conference and the 11th Annual Songwriters Showcase hosted by the New York Sheet Music Society.  She’s performed on Live with Regis, Good Day NY and Fox Morning Show, and her music can be heard in soundtracks on MTV, VH-1, PBS, ABC Family, A&E, Discovery channel, USA Network and others.  Her latest release, Open Book, is currently garnering airplay on radio stations across the country -- having debuted at #33 on the Folk DJ Chart and #49 on the Cashbox Magazine/Roots Music Report Folk chart in September and is still climbing. Marci (and the other performers as well) were accompanied by Buskin and Batteau's uber-percussionist, Marshal Rosenberg.
