Frank Gotwals

Frank Gotwals is a singer-songwriter from Stonington, Maine who has been performing his subtle blend of folk and jazz for more than 25 years. Resonant baritone vocals and strong guitar technique combined with a dry sense of humor have made him an increasing popular performer on east coast stages. His thought provoking, sometimes humorous songs often include images and ideas from his coastal home, where he has been a commercial lobster fisherman for many years. He performs original songs, instrumentals and folk blues on six-string, twelve-string, and steel bodied Dobro guitars. His first solo CD, Dry Ice was released in 1994 and he has recently released a second CD, Unfamiliar Sea.
